Seasonal Camper Information


What is allowed on the Campsite


  • One (1) camping unit allowed on the site.
  • Maximum age of trailer accepted is twenty five (25) years.
  • One (1) picnic table provided with each site.
  • One (1) storage shed (wood or metal) allowed on the site. Maximum size 8x 8 x 8.
  • Add-a-rooms should be no larger than two thirds (2/3) the size of the trailer.
  • Deck area must not extend beyond trailer and must be no higher than 2 ft. off the ground thus eliminating a building permit.
  • Trailers must be insured against damages.
Seasonal fees  (Please refer to the “Rate section” for costs.)

  • Rates are based on a family unit of 2 adults and unmarried children under 18 years.
  • An extra charge applies for additional adults.
  • Seasonal fees are due and payable in full by May 1st of each year. A payment plan is available through the winter months.
  • Maximum overnight occupancy is 6 people including small children.
  • Guests are not allowed to occupy your trailer or campsite if you are away.
  • A $10.00 / night off-season rate applies between Oct 15th and April 30th.
  • Trailer owners will be responsible for any taxes that may be brought into effect by the Township.
  • Hydro meters will be read on occasion between April 1st & October 31st. Invoices shall be payable upon receipt.
Member bonus

  • Twelve (12) mini-golf passes for children 3 to 12 years old.
  • 20 visitor passes for your friends & guests.
  • Free pancake breakfast on Victoria Day weekend.
  • Free corn roast tickets for the whole family.
  • Free access to all the facilities and organized activities.
  • Access to the Campground
  • CAR TAGS are issued each year and correspond to registered vehicles that will enter the Campground on a regular basis and are non-transferable.
  • Car tag must be visible at all times. No tag, no entry!
Sale of Trailer

  • Private sales are not permitted and must be handled by Lafontaine Camping.
  • 10% of selling price is payable to Lafontaine Campground if the Campground is used as a selling place /and or if any personnel is instrumental in the sale of your trailer.
  • Upon sale, the seasonal License of Occupancy is non-transferable.
  • Sub-letting of trailers is not allowed.
Visitors & Guests

  • Any person not included on the License of Occupation must register at the office upon arrival and obtain a parking permit.
  • Adults and teens (13yrs and over) must pay a $4.00 entrance fee.
  • Refunds will be given if they present visitor passes. (1 coupon per paid visitor).
  • Visitors must leave their vehicle in the parking lot and walk to the campsite.
  • Overnight guests must register before 11p.m. and pay the extra adult fee if applicable.
  • Overnight guests are permitted to stay on your campsite ONLY if the total number of people occupying the site does not exceed 6 people, including seasonal members and all children. Other campsites or rental units are available if they wish to camp.
  • Overnight fee expires at 2 p.m. the following day.
  • Day visitors must leave the Campground by 11p.m.
  • No visitors admitted in the Campground between 11p.m. and 8a.m.

Garbage Disposal, Recycling & Composting

  • Due to the new Simcoe County Garbage rules which allows only 8 garbage bags per week for the Campground, we will now accept only regular household garbage. (The campground must pay for any excess garbage and haul it to the transfer station.)
  • No large items please: no appliances, no furniture, no bicycles and no construction materials….etc.
  • We strongly encourage recycling & composting.  Please use the biodegradable plastic bags supplied by the office and drop them in the compost bins.
  • You can also make use of our Free Goods centre to trade good reusable items.
  • Seasonal Campers are responsible for their garbage disposal.  Garbage pick-up is done on a daily basis after 2 p.m. only in sections occupied by daily campers. Please do not leave garbage bags by the road in front of your campsite. Please use the “drop off centre” situated in the parking lot area, close to the pool.
